Megaport Configuration Assistance
Megaport Configuration Assistance is a task-based, hands-on implementation service that provides expert execution of approved network designs. Delivered by Megaport engineers, this professional service helps organizations deploy and migrate Megaport services more efficiently by transferring implementation tasks from internal teams to Megaport.
By leveraging validated best practices, Configuration Assistance helps accelerate deployments while ensuring Megaport services are configured correctly the first time.
Note
Configuration Assistance is available for direct and partner accounts only. It is not available for managed accounts.

Engagement process
After you submit a Configuration Assistance request, the engagement follows a structured delivery process.
-
Consultation – A TAM conducts a technical workshop with your team to validate your proposed design and architecture, establish implementation requirements, and finalize deployment parameters.
After both parties agree on the proposed requirements, the assigned TAM will provide a Manual Service Order (MSO) form for your review and acceptance of pricing, terms, and conditions. -
Planning and coordination – After the MSO is executed, all technical documentation is finalized, including step-by-step runbooks and Methods of Procedure (MOPs). Megaport then coordinates directly with your team to schedule the specific maintenance window for the deployment.
-
Implementation – Megaport engineers execute the required deployment and configuration activities within the scheduled change window.
-
Handover – Megaport verifies that the deployment aligns with your technical specifications and returns operational control of the network environment to your team, accompanied by a formal Notice of Completion.
