Locating the company switcher
The company switcher appears in the top left of the Megaport Portal as part of the breadcrumb trail.- If you belong to only one account, your company name appears as plain text and no drop-down list is shown.
- If you belong to more than one account, for example, a partner account with managed accounts, click your company name to open the switcher.
Switching from a partner account to a managed account
The Megaport Partner Program offers two account models that enable partners to create account hierarchies for the Partner Program services: partner and managed. To switch from a partner account to a managed account- While logged in to the partner account, click the company switcher.

Under Partner, select an account. If available, use the Filter Accounts field to find an account.
Specify part of the account name or account ID to filter the list. The Megaport Portal switches to the selected account immediately, with no confirmation step. The company switcher shows which managed account you are currently viewing.
- Every open Megaport Portal tab switches to the selected account. Tabs displaying pages specific to the previous account are redirected to the home page of the selected account.
- Switching between managed accounts does not require you to complete MFA again.
Showing all managed accounts
You can always expand or collapse the list of managed accounts. If a partner account has more than three managed accounts, only the first three appear when you open the company switcher, with a Show all button to reveal the rest. This keeps a large list of managed accounts from crowding out other partner accounts if you belong to more than one.Switching from a managed account to a partner account
You can switch back to the partner account from any managed account using the company switcher. To switch from a managed account to the partner account- While in a managed account, click the company switcher.
- Under Partner, select your partner account. The Megaport Portal switches immediately and returns you to the page you were on, now in the partner account.
Switching from a managed account to another managed account
There is no direct switch between managed accounts. Switch back to the partner account first, then select the other managed account. To switch from a managed account to another managed account- While in a managed account, click the company switcher, then select your partner account.
