# IP Address Billing

> This help topic describes IP Address block billing details.

Megaport charges a recurring monthly flat fee based on the subnet size of the IP Address block.

Billing starts as soon as the block is in live status. Each month, you are billed a flat fee for the block. IP Address is charged on a postpaid basis. For example, if you place your order on January 15, your first invoice will be issued on February 1, and the charge will cover the period from January 15 to January 31.

For more information, see [IP Address Pricing and Contract Terms](/finance/ip-address-pricing).

## Cancellation

Canceling an IP Address block on a contract term will result in an early termination fee (ETF) equivalent to 100% of the remainder of the term. You can waive the ETF yourself by ordering an eligible replacement service. For more information, see [Managing Early Termination Fees](/finance/etf-management).
